Bethesda Fountain and Central Park with Jesse on a sunny gorgeous Saturday
The angel strides in a New York hurry

Be in a hurry to see Angels in America in which this fountain features, and why I was motivated to find it for the first time.
It is a beautiful, funny and clever film about AIDS, and in her best performance yet Meryl Streep plays Ethel Rosenberg haunting Roy Cohn who died of AIDS. He was the lawyer who helped sentence her to electocution for typing notes about nuclear weapons on a 1950's sabbath (using her brother's testimony; he admitted to lying years later on Sixty Minutes, the compensatory court room). Emma Thompson plays a superb and scary angel with 9 clitorises (which is the correct plual, I too would prefer clitori), the standard amount for angels of her order. Makes you look at angels differently, eh?
We appreciated the strawberry touch - but because we had blueberries, a mango, a peach and cherries to eat, we kept walking in search of our patch of verandah grass, past some cardinal birds, one of whom had the best mohawk we had seen in ages.
I love my zoom lens deeply, my heart is a flutter at all I come eye to eye with.
The mushrooms were really nice.
Looking out for angels from our verandah patch of shade
After the park we went to a bookshop and grazed and then went and had Korean food - Bibim-bahp -
I am addicted to how it sounds as much as how it tastes, on my third Koreatown visit.
Then we came home to our blue buddha abode, all nice and clean from the mornings sweaty frenzy of cleaning. The Buddha looks over and smiled all fat bellied at the domesticity
